Mini India has announced that it has started accepting bookings for the new 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack. Interested customers can book the car by visiting their nearest Mini dealership and paying a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh. The launch will take place sometime this month, with deliveries expected to begin in May 2026. While the powertrain, transmission and most features remain unchanged, the driving experience and equipment list continue as offered in the standard model. The convertible is expected to be priced higher than the hardtop JCW Pack variant, which is listed at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the powertrain first, the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible with JCW Pack is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 204hp and 300Nm, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that drives the front wheels. It is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.9 seconds. In comparison, it’s 0.3 seconds slower than the hardtop version. The JCW Pack for the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible introduces two color options – Legend Gray and Midnight Black, along with a jet black fabric roof and exterior elements such as the grille, ORVM housings, door handles, wheel arches, side skirts and black finishes. The update also includes 17-inch JCW alloy wheels in black finish and JCW-branded sport brakes. Models in Legend Gray also get black bonnet stripes.Moving inside, the Mini Cooper Convertible with the JCW pack has a two-tone textile interior, with the dashboard and door panels finished in recycled fabric rather than chrome or leather. It gets black sport seats with a red front stripe and JCW branding, along with a JCW sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, a suede headliner and JCW badging on the door strips. The feature list includes adaptive dampers, head-up display, Mini’s Connected Car Suite, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Harman Kardon audio system.
