Toyota Corolla Motor is stepping into India’s growing anime and pop culture scene with a new partnership. The car maker has announced its collaboration with Animation Express for Animation India 2026, a multi-city event series focused on anime, manga, gaming and Japanese pop culture.
Toyota Anime in India 2026: Venue and Dates
The first event under this partnership will be held in New Delhi on June 6 and 7 at Yeshubumi. The Delhi edition of Anime India 2026 will feature Yurika’s J-pop concert and the India debut of popular Japanese voice actor Ino Kazuhiko, known as the voice behind Kakashi from Naruto.

As part of the event, Toyota will showcase three models at dedicated stalls: Urban Cruiser Highrider, Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser Taser. Interestingly, all three vehicles will get a special wrap inspired by the globally popular anime series ‘Attack on Titan’.

The company’s flagship display featuring the Urban Cruiser Highrider will also host several activities including quiz competitions, stamp rallies and spin-the-wheel games for visitors. Anime India has quickly emerged as one of the biggest-ticket anime conventions in the country. According to the organizers, the last two editions attracted a total of 60,000 Gen Z participants.
