Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has released the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Admission 2026 merit list and round 1 seat allotment results for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CSE-Research, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computational Biology (CB) programs. Candidates can check the merit list and seat allocation status through the official website.The online application process for M.Tech admissions started on 16th March 2026 and ended on 13th April 2026. Earlier the institute had conducted an online open house session on 27th March 2026 for the prospective applicants.The admit cards for CSE and CSE-Research entrance exams, along with interview calls for ECE non-gate and CB candidates, were released on 20 April 2026.The PGCAT-IIITD exam for CSE and CSE-Research programs was conducted on May 3, 2026. Online interviews for non-GATE ECE candidates and GATE CSE-Research candidates were tentatively held on May 7, while hybrid interviews for CB candidates were also held on the same day.

Candidates can follow these steps to access the merit list and seat allotment results:
- Go to the official website, which is iiitd.ac.in.
- Click on the “Admission” section available on the home page.
- From the drop-down menu, select “MTech”.
- Scroll down to find Merit List and Round 1 Seat Allocation links.
- Click on the respective link to check the result.
- Download and save allotment list for future reference.

ConfirmationThe institute has further clarified that OBC-NCL and EWS candidates have to produce the certificate issued for the current financial year. Failure to produce valid documents at the time of verification may lead to cancellation of admission.
