Speaking about how the two first met, Rhett revealed that his producer was working with One Direction at the time and helped them connect.He said: “I’ve known Niall for a decade. Our producer, my producer, produced all the 1D stuff at the time. He produced Teddy Swims, Sabrina Carpenter, she’s awesome.”Rhett added: “But he introduced me to Niall a decade ago and we’ve become really good friends. We put a song together last year and we decided, ‘Let’s go do some shows together’, so we’ve got a couple this year.”Last year, the two musicians collaborated and re-released Rhett’s song Old Tricks with Horan’s vocals. Rhett also teased that the two have met on several occasions and plan to work together on some concerts this year.
