Obin Electric has teased its upcoming electric motorcycle, which is set to debut on April 30, 2026. The Bangalore-based manufacturer will reveal full specifications, pricing and availability details at the launch event, where bookings are also expected to open.
Aubin Electric’s upcoming EV: What to expect
The teaser offers a first look at the front design of the motorcycle. Aubin seems to be moving away from the round, nine-retro headlamps seen on the Roar lineup. The image hints at a sharper, more aggressive Street Fighter-style design. You can see a V-shaped LED DRL placed on top. It looks wide and sharp.Below that sits a single projector headlamp in the center. This type of setup is now common on sporty naked bikes. There is no large fairing or windscreen, which suggests it will be a proper electric bike with a strong, forward lean.
The coming Oban Electric Bike: Expected Powertrain
While technical details are still under wraps, expectations are that the new motorcycle could build on the company’s existing LFP battery technology. Oben’s current models offer a battery pack of up to 4.4 kWh, providing a claimed range of up to 187 km, with a top speed of around 100 km/h. The upcoming bike is also likely to feature familiar elements like multiple riding modes, regenerative braking and connected tech.
