While the CBSE Class 10th results were declared in the first half of April, lakhs of students are still waiting for their 12th scores. However, both past trends and the official clarification from the Central Board of Secondary Education indicate that there have been no unusual delays this year. Previous years’ data shows that CBSE Class 12 results are usually declared after May 10. In 2025 and 2024, the results were declared on May 13, while in 2023, they were declared on May 12. The only exceptions were during the pandemic years 2021 and 2022 when the exams were delayed until July, resulting in delayed results. This pattern suggests that the mid-May results timeline is standard for CBSE, and the current wait falls within the normal schedule rather than indicating a delay. This year, the Class 12 board exams were held from February 17 to April 10. After the exams were over, marking was phased in using a digital marking system, designed to speed up marking and improve consistency.

- Visit the official website – results.cbse.nic.in.
- Click on the link for “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” available on home page.
- Enter your Roll Number, School Number, Admit Card ID, and Date of Birth in the login window.
- Submit details to check your result.
- The score card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout for future use.
