New Delhi: Delhi Capitals on Friday registered their most successful chase in IPL history against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur to put a break on their hat-trick of defeats in IPL 2026. Chasing a record 226 in just 19.1 overs, DC secured two points.The win lifted DC to sixth place in the IPL 2026 points table with eight points from nine games, ahead of Chennai Super Kings, who play Mumbai Indians at home on Saturday.RR’s erratic campaign continued as they suffered their fourth defeat in 10 games. GT have narrowed the gap with fourth-placed RR to just two points and are two points ahead of DC.The rest of the table remains unchanged. CSK is seventh with six points, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders with five points. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are ninth with four points, ahead of bottom-placed Lucknow Supergiants on the NRR.The race for the playoffs is heating up as the league stage enters the crucial phase.
