Akshay Kumar Hera has faced the constant speculation surrounding Pheri 3, leaving fans disappointed as she revealed that the much-awaited sequel is currently not in the works.In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay He confirmed that the film is not progressing at the moment.“So far, it’s not done.”When fans told him they thought things were fixed, he repeated, “No, no, it didn’t happen.”Reacting to the disappointment over the update, the actor admitted that he shares the sentiment.“I’m surprised myself, to be honest.”
“Maybe something will come of it”
There were reports on filmmakers like Anees Bazmee and Priyadarshan participating in different phases, but Akshay said that things are still uncertain.“Maybe something will come of it… maybe we’ll have to say some prayers. But right now, it’s not happening.”He also ruled out the film going on floors soon. – No, at least not next year.Addressing speculation that the delay could be due to scheduling or issues between the original trio, Akshay clarified that this is not the case.“No, it’s not just that. Despite the hurdles, Akshay remains hopeful that the film will finally take shape.“I think it will happen on its own when the time is right. It will work itself out. I hope it happens before it’s too old.”
