India Yamaha Motor has increased the prices of its popular R15 motorcycle lineup in India, making the entry-level supersport slightly more expensive across variants. The latest revision applies to the entire range, including the Yamaha R15S, Yamaha R15 V4 and the top-spec Yamaha R15M. Latest prices are effective from May 2026.The price hike is Rs 4,900 across the range. After the revision, the R15 lineup now starts at Rs 1.56 lakh, ex-showroom for the R15S, while the R15 V4 range is priced between Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh depending on the variant. The flagship R15M is now priced between Rs 1.86 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh, ex-showroom, with the White Metallic C becoming the most expensive model in the range at Rs 1,96,100.Despite the additions, the R15 remains one of the most popular motorcycles in the entry-level performance segment.
Mechanically no changes have been made to the bike. The R15 range continues with the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine featuring Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The motor produces around 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike also gets features like assist and slipper clutch, while select variants offer a quick shifter.
