Recalling her younger days, Tabu shared that Ajay and her cousin Sameer Arya would constantly stare at her and shoo away boys who tried to talk to her.“Ajay and I have known each other for 25 years. My cousin Sameer was Arya’s neighbor and close friend and was a part of my growing up years,” he said.“When I was young, Sameer and Ajay used to spy on me, follow me around and threaten to beat up boys who caught them talking to me. They were big catchers and if I’m single today, it’s because of Ajay,” the actor joked.He also added: “I hope he repents and regrets what he has done.”
‘Please find me a boy to marry’
Tabu also revealed that she jokingly asked Ajay to help her find a suitable match.“The other day I told her to please find a guy to marry,” she recounted humorously.The two first worked together in Vijaypath and have since shared screen space in several films over the years. Their friendship has remained strong both on and off screen.Talking about their bond, Tabu said, “Among the male actors, the one I can relate to is Ajay. He’s like a child and yet so protective.”“The atmosphere on set when she’s around is stress-free.
