National Testing Agency (NTA) has released UGC NET December 2025 e-certificates for eligible candidates. The documents are now available on the official portal and can be downloaded online using login credentials. The release follows the completion of the December 2025 examination period, which was conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026 across the country. A total of 7,35,592 candidates appeared for the computer-based test, and more than 1.76 lakh candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professional Awards.

- Click on the E-Certificate link on the Latest News section.
- On clicking, you will be taken to the login page.
- Login with application number and date of birth.
- Submit to access the dashboard.

UGC NET Certificate Expiry
UGC NET e-certificate serves as proof of eligibility for Assistant Professor posts and is valid for lifetime. For candidates awarded Junior Research Fellowship, the JRF award letter issued along with the certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. These documents are required during faculty recruitment, PhD admissions, and fellowship confirmation.
UGC NET Certificate Categories to Check
UGC NET certificate is not issued under any single category. Depending on the performance and cut-off, candidates may be awarded different qualification levels. These include:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) only
- JRF with qualification of Assistant Professor
- Eligibility for Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D
- Admission only to Ph.D
