“There are no right or wrong people”
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Supriya he said, “There is no fixed answer. I’m not looking for the ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ person, because such definitions don’t really exist.”He added that life does not always turn out as planned. “Either you don’t get married, or you don’t want to. Sometimes you want to, but it doesn’t happen. It’s not a big deal,” she shared.Reflecting on her younger years, the actress stated: “When I was 25-26, I wanted to get married. But today, I don’t think so. And it’s not because I’m depressed because I don’t have a boyfriend or haven’t found one. If I didn’t find someone, I didn’t… that’s it.’
“Heartbreak is not limited to romance”
Addressing the repeated rumors she has faced in love, Supriya clarified that emotional pain is not limited to romantic relationships. “Even today, I experience heartbreak, but it doesn’t have to come from a romantic partner. Anyone can break your heart: a sibling, a friend or someone close to you,” she said.Although he has love for everyone, he insists that he does not forget people’s actions. “I don’t hate anyone, but I never forget what someone did to me. I learn from that,” he added.Reacting to speculations about her cheating in love, Supriya responded in her trademark coy style. “If something like that happened, I’d bury it six feet under,” he said, dismissing the narrative.
“Help Don’t Need Love”
The actor said that he does not rely on romantic relationships for companionship. “You can also find companionship in friends and family,” she said.He also admitted that it doesn’t resonate with conventional ideas of romance. “I don’t understand when people say they will bring the moon and stars. People have to be practical,” concluded Supriya.
