South Indian Bank has started the online application process for the recruitment of various posts in its IT department. The bank has invited applications from Indian nationals for 16 different roles in Scale I, II and III categories. The application process started on 15th May 2026 and will remain open till 25th May 2026.The bank said applications will be accepted only through its official online portal. It also warned applicants against fake job alerts and unofficial communications. As per the notification, all future updates regarding the recruitment process will be published through the official channels of the bank.Announced roles in IT operationsThe recruitment drive includes Business Solutions Analyst, UAT Test Engineer, Developer-LOS, Software Developer-API, Software Developer-In-House Development, CBS Finical Administrator, CBS Interface Admin, Network Admin Support, Linux/Solaris Administrator, Database Administrator, SVM Administrator, Product Administrator, SVM Administrator, Lens Administrator Production Administrator, Full Stack. Developer, iOS Developer and Project Manager.Most of the posts require BTech, BE, MCA, MSc in IT or Computer Science, BCA, or BSc in IT, Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks. Project Manager role also accepts MBA qualification.Age limit varies according to the post. Many Scale I posts have an upper age limit of 30 years, while some Scale I and II roles allow candidates up to 35 or 40 years. Maximum age limit for Production Support Lead position under Scale III is 45 years.Experience requirements and selection processWork experience requirements vary across roles. Positions such as business solution analyst and database administrator require at least three years of relevant experience, while iOS developer and network admin support require four years of experience. The Production Support Lead role requires experience in managing the production administration of digital banking products.Shortlisted candidates will be called for preliminary and/or personal interview, the bank said. It added that mere qualification will not guarantee selection for the recruitment process.Salary Structure and Application GuidelinesSelected candidates will get IBA approved pay scales applicable to Scale I, II and III officers along with allowances and performance linked incentives. The bank also said that selected candidates can be transferred anywhere in India.There is no application fee prescribed for the recruitment process. Applicants must attach photographs, signature and resume in specified formats while completing the online application form.
