When Variety India asked Salman about the first film environment where he really felt at home, he didn’t have to think twice. He spoke warmly about the bond he shares with the people he’s worked with over the years, and made it clear that for him, comfort on set has always come from the people around him. Salman said, “My first film. Sooraj Barjatya and I am like brothers. After that, the most fun I’ve had has been with Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sanju (Sanjay Dutt). Actually, all my films. I think you should work with people you like. If there is a script, and you have to do it, but you don’t like the person, or you don’t make the film or you get along well with that person and you make the film. The Taj Mahal is never built on hate.”

Asked about his first song that became a nationwide sensation, Salman smiled and credited some luck and an iconic moment that fans still remember today. Khan said, “I got lucky with this one, but the shirtless song was ‘Oh Oh Jaane Jaana’ (‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’).”

On the professional front, Salman Khan has lined up some exciting projects. She will next be seen in Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Maatrubhumi’ where she will be seen opposite Chitrangada Singh. The movie which was previously known as ‘Battle of Galwan’ is highly anticipated among the fans. Apart from this, Salman also has ‘SVC63’ in the pipeline, along with Nayanthara. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, the film is gearing up for Eid 2027.
