Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment drive through the official CRPF recruitment portal before the last date, 19 May 2026.Candidates can submit their application form online through CRPF recruitment portal.The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 9,195 vacancies for male and female candidates in various trades and technical posts.The online registration process started on 20 April 2026.
CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details
According to the official notification, the distribution of vacancies is as follows:
- Male Candidates: 9,096 Posts
- Female Candidates: 79 Posts
- Pioneer Wing (All India basis): 20 Posts.
This recruitment includes drivers, cooks, carpenters, tailors, barbers, washermen, cleaners and many other technical and tradesmen posts.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- Applicants should be citizens of India.
Age Limit
- Driver Post: 21 to 27 years
- Other Posts: 18 to 23 years
- Age relaxation will be applicable for certain categories of candidates as per government rules.
Educational qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- For certain posts, candidates should also possess Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate, technical qualification or relevant work experience as specified in the official notification.
Selection process
The selection process will include the following steps.
- Physical Performance Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Trade or skill test
- Document verification
- Medical examination
The final merit list will be based primarily on the performance of the candidates in the Computer Based Test, subject to qualifying all other stages.
