RSSB Teacher Recruitment 2026: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Teaching Associates on contract basis under Rajasthan College Education Society. A total of 3,540 vacancies have been announced in 32 disciplines inviting applications from eligible male and female candidates through the SSO portal.According to Chairman Major General Alok Raj, PVSM, AVSM, the online application process will start from May 5 and will continue till June 3. Written exams are conducted for September and October. He also informed that an additional 2,000 posts will be added under recruitment of L1 teachers, a separate notification to follow.Recruitment details and vacanciesThe recruitment drive, advertised under No. 06/2026, offers Teaching Associate posts equivalent to Assistant Professor roles on contractual basis. Application Fee and Eligibility CriteriaApplication fee for General category candidates and applicants from outside Rajasthan is Rs.600. Candidates belonging to OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories within the state need to pay Rs.400. The same fee is applicable for disabled candidates. Payments can be made online through net banking, UPI, credit card, or debit card.Applicants should be between 18 to 40 years of age as on 1 January 2027. Relaxation is applicable: five years for women in general category and men in specified categories, and ten years for women in specified categories. Widows and divorced women are exempted from the upper age limit.Educational Qualification and Selection ProcessCandidates should have master’s degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% marks. Qualification in NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or SLET/SET is required, with specific exemptions given in official notification.Selection will be made on the basis of written test scheduled between August and October. Applicants should complete the online process, upload documents, pay the fee, and keep a printed copy of the submitted form for their records.
