Almost a decade after Sairat rewrote the history of Marathi cinema by becoming the industry’s first Rs 100 crore grosser, a new film has taken the top spot. Its strength continued in the following weeks, with the film earning 57.70 crores at the end of the first week and 84 crores nett at the end of the second week. Even in the third week in the halls, Raja Shivaji worked tirelessly. According to the latest box office figures, the film collected 1.70 crores on its third Friday, 2.90 crores on Saturday and 3.80 crores on Sunday.With these collections, the film’s total Indian gross has risen to 109.90 crores, and its Indian nett stands at 93 crores. Overseas, the film added another 4.90 crores, taking its worldwide gross collection to an impressive 114.80 crores.The milestone officially pushes Raja Shivaji Sairat’s worldwide gross to Rs 110 crore. Celebrating the achievement on Instagram, Jio Studios shared a message: “The glorious saga of Hindavi Swarajya has ignited pride in every heart!”Apart from Riteish and Genelia in the lead, the film has a great ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt.
