In an official statement, Pookutty has asked individuals and organizations not to misuse his persona without prior permission. According to IANS, the legal notice issued by Resul Pookutty says that various websites, YouTube channels, social media accounts, companies and other organizations have misused his name, images, videos and even voice while falsely claiming an association with him. The ad says that these activities have not only misled the public, but have damaged its reputation and goodwill.It also clarifies that no person or organization is authorized to use its name, trademarks or any other intellectual property, unless expressly recognized or approved by it.

The warning also addresses digital threats posed by AI-generated content. Pookutty specifically condemns the creation and circulation of doctored videos, artificially created voice recordings, synthetic content, digitally manipulated images and other altered media that may represent or misrepresent him.The notice indicates that such content may violate your legal rights. It further emphasizes that trademarks associated with Resul Pookutty, Canaries Post Sound and Resul Pookutty Foundation are protected under applicable laws.
If violations continue, legal action is planned
Pookutty’s legal team has directed content creators, publishers, broadcasters, platform operators and administrators to immediately remove all unauthorized content and stop monetizing such material. The notice further states that no content relating to Pookutty’s identity may be created, published or distributed without his express permission.If these guidelines are not heeded, Pookutty has warned that appropriate civil and criminal proceedings will be initiated before the relevant courts and authorities.
