Hello and welcome to live coverage of the IPL 2026 Qualifier 1 match between defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans.
After 70 high-intensity league stage maths, IPL 2026 has now entered its decisive phase as RCB and 2022 winners GT, the top two teams in the standings, will square off in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday in Dharamsala with direct access to the final.
As per the IPL format, the top two teams in the standings qualify for Qualifier 1, and the winner of the match will directly enter the final, while the loser will get another chance through Qualifier 2.
RCB and GT finished first and second in the points table respectively, with 18 points each and separated only by net run rate. They are 1-1 this season and 4-4 overall.
