RBSE Announces Class 10th Supplementary Exam Dates, Second Chance Exams to Begin from May 14

RBSE Class 10th Supplementary Exam 2026 Dates: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the time table for Class 10th Supplementary Examinations 2026. The exams will be held from May 14 to May 16 in a morning session, scheduled between 8:30 am to 11:45 am.Supplementary examinations are intended for those students who were unable to secure at least the required 33% marks in the main examinations held earlier. The schedule applies to Secondary, Vocational, Previshka, and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) categories.Exam schedule and distribution of subjectsAs per the official time table, the examinations for regular candidates will start on Thursday, 14 May 2026. The first day subjects are Hindi (Compulsory), English (Compulsory), Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Sanskrit (First Paper), Agricultural Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Science.The next day is Friday, May 15, 2026, in which students will conduct exams in subjects like Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Home Science, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Business Studies, Accountancy, Mathematics, Drawing and Music.On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the examination includes the conduct of professional subjects like Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Healthcare, IT & ITES, Retail, Security, Agriculture, Electronics & Hardware, Plumbing, Telecom, Banking & Financial Services, Tourism and others.

Schedule for Secondary and Professional CategoriesFor Secondary, Vocational, Previshka, and CWSN students, the schedule is slightly different depending on the subject. English (Compulsory) Examination will be held on 14 May 2026. Subjects to appear on 15 May 2026 will include Hindi, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Third Language (Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati) and Sanskrit first paper.Professional subjects such as IT, Retail, Healthcare, Automotive, Electronics, Security, Tourism, Banking and Agriculture will conduct the exam on May 16, 2026.Context of Supplementary ExaminationsSupplementary exams are scheduled on 28th March 2026 after declaration of class 10 results. Out of 10,06,450 students, 94.23% passed the central examinations.Students who do not meet the minimum pass criteria in one or more subjects are given this additional opportunity to qualify. By securing the required marks in these exams, they will be able to progress academically without wasting a year.Candidate GuidelinesThe board has provided some guidelines for the candidates appearing for their supplementary examinations. Candidates must adhere to the time and reporting schedule at all times.If any changes or modifications are made in the schedule, they will be communicated only through proper channels. Special facilities have been arranged for CWSN candidates at the examination venues.Students are prohibited from carrying electronic devices including mobile phones and smart watches inside the examination hall. Strict action will be taken in case of unfair behavior.Instructions issued by the investigators and school authorities during the examination session should be followed carefully. Admit cards related to the supplementary examinations will be distributed separately, and candidates are requested to keep in touch with their schools for further information on its receipt.
