Rakesh Bedi reveals he was not paid Farooq Shaikh, star of Deepti Naval's 'Saath Saath':

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedicurrently basking in the success of the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise, he has recently turned filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan at his Mumbai home for an episode on his YouTube channel.During the candid interview, Farah reminisced about her early days in the industry, recalling the time when actors worked without pay. He said, “Rakesh, are you getting paid now? I guess. When everyone started their career, nobody was paying them.” To this, Bedi replied, “Times were different.”The discussion turned to the 1982 film Saath Saath, in which he starred Deepti Naval and Farooq Shaikh. When asked whether he was paid for the project, Bedi stated, “He didn’t even charge me for transporting me. In fact, many times, we used to take food from our house”, adding that it was the only film that did not receive any payment.
