The Punjab School Education Board has declared the PSEB Class 10 Results 2026 on the official website pseb.ac.in. The pass percentage was 94.52%. Candidates appearing for the Punjab Board Matriculation Examinations can now access and download their scorecards from the official website pseb.ac.in.The Punjab Board conducted the 10th class exams between 6th March to 1st April 2026 in various examination centers of the state. The examination cycle started with the Social Science paper and concluded with the Health and Physical Education examination.
Punjab 10th Class Result 2026: Statistics
PSEB has achieved an overall pass percentage of 94.52 in PSEB Class 10 Exams 2026. Out of the 2,69,505 students who appeared for the matriculation examinations this year, a total of 2,54,744 candidates cleared the examination successfully. In the Punjab Board Class 10 results, girls once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls was an impressive 95.96 per cent, with 1,22,595 students qualifying out of 1,27,753 candidates. Meanwhile, boys had a pass percentage of 93.23, with 1,32,143 candidates clearing the exam out of 1,41,746 students. The board also recorded a 100 per cent pass ratio among transgender candidates, with all six students clearing the exam successfully. Rural students continued to outperform their urban counterparts this year as well. The pass percentage in rural areas stood at 95.35 per cent, while in urban areas the pass percentage was 92.98 per cent. Among institutions, non-government schools performed the highest with a pass percentage of 95.97. Government schools recorded a pass ratio of 94.45 per cent, while aided schools achieved 89.68 per cent. A slight decrease was observed in the overall pass percentage compared to the previous academic session. In 2025, the Punjab Board recorded a pass ratio of 95.61 percent, with 2,65,548 students passing out of 2,77,746 candidates. This year the pass rate fell to 94.52%. As per the result data released by the board, 13,126 students have been placed in the reappearance category which is 4.87% of the total candidates. Meanwhile, 1,593 students failed the exam, while the results of 42 candidates have been withheld.

Here To download PSEB Class 10th Result 2026.Students are advised to keep a printed copy of the online mark sheet for admission and documentation purposes.Apart from the official website, digital mark sheets are also expected to be available through DigiLocker. Students facing website slowdown due to heavy traffic can use the platform to access digitally verified copies of their results.The DigiLocker mark sheet is treated as a valid provisional document for the admission process till the schools distribute the original certificate.
What is the pass percentage?
According to the evaluation criteria of the Punjab Board, to pass the examination, the students have to secure at least 33% marks in each subject in aggregate and individually. Candidates are required to clear theory and practical/internal assessment components separately.Students unable to clear one or more subjects are expected to get another chance through compartmental examinations, the details of which will be announced soon.
The re-evaluation and re-checking window is about to open soon.
Revaluation and rechecking process is also expected to be started by Punjab Board in coming days. Students who are not satisfied with their scores will be able to apply online for checking the answer sheet after the release of the official notification.While rechecking involves verification of total errors and unchecked answers, retesting involves a fresh review of the answer sheets.
The original mark sheets will be distributed by the schools.
The online result released today is provisional in nature. The actual physical mark sheets are expected to be sent to the schools in the next few working days. Students will need to collect them from their respective schools for future academic admissions and verification purposes.
