Ola S1 X+ with 320 km range at Rs 1.30 lakh: But there's a catch!

Ola Electric has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the launch of the new S1 X+ 5.2 kWh variant. The e-scooter has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,999 ex-showroom, but this price is only valid till April 15, 2026, after which it is expected to increase. Ola aims to make long-distance electric mobility more accessible. However, the limited-time pricing means buyers looking to take advantage of the Rs 1.30 lakh tag will need to act fast. The highlight of the new S1 X+ is its claimed IDC range of 320 km, making it one of the longest range scooters in its segment. It is powered by an 11 kW mid-drive motor paired with an integrated motor control unit, allowing it to reach a top speed of 125 km/h. The scooter also gets brake-by-wire technology along with front disc brakes.

Ola S1X+ 5.2kWh Variant: Equipped with Desi Bharat Cell

A major talking point here is the use of Ola’s indigenously manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell. Along with this, the company is pushing its in-house battery technology into more mass-market products. The S1 X+ 5.2 kWh joins the brand’s already extensive portfolio of electric two-wheelers. The current S1 X+ continues to sell for Rs 1,02,499 with a 4 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of 242 km. The company’s Gen 3 lineup also includes the S1 Pro and S1 Pro+, with the S1 X range available with multiple battery options that cater to more budget-focused buyers.
