NEET UG 2026 Re-examination Correction Window
NEET UG 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 will be held on 21 June 2026. The agency issued a public notice on May 15 following its previous press release on May 12. As per the official notification, the re-examination is being conducted under the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) to facilitate admissions to medical courses in medical institutions across India. This exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode in various cities across the country as well as abroad. Candidates will be allowed to appear in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. As per the notice, the re-examination of NEET UG 2026 will be conducted from 2 PM to 5:15 PM (Indian Standard Time), including the time allotted for the examination formalities.
NTA opens address and exam city update facility.
The examination agency has also provided an opportunity to the candidates to update their current address and preferred examination city. This facility is introduced for those students who want to change their examination city due to change in their current residence. Candidates can make the necessary changes by visiting the official NEET website from 15 May to 21 May 2026, by 11:50 PM. However, the NTA clarified that only the current address and examination city selection can be modified. No further corrections in the application details will be allowed during this period. The agency added that candidates who do not avail the facility within the given timeline will retain their already selected exam city, and no request for changes will be entertained thereafter.

Admit Card and City Intimation Slip
NTA said that information regarding city intimation slip and admit card download will be announced later on the official website. The details of the examination center will be mentioned on the admit card issued to the candidates. The agency also informed the candidates that the details regarding display of recorded answers, answer keys and declaration of results will be notified separately in due course.
