New Delhi: Former India and CSK batsman Subramaniam Badrinath has revealed his best performance. IPL XII to play for the league stage in 2026, and the biggest talk was the exit of superstars Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. Instead, Badrinath, revealing the line-up in a video on his YouTube channel, chose young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi at the top of the order along with Shubman Gill. His team was largely built around players from the top four sides who qualified for the play-offs, with nine of the 12 selections coming from those teams. Badrinath preferred an Indian-heavy batting line-up and relied on overseas stars, particularly in the bowling department, which mirrors how many IPL franchises are typically structured. At number three, he picked Sai Sudharsan, while Henrik Klaasen was selected as a middle-order powerhouse. Rajat Patidar also made the team as a finisher due to his impressive strike rate and ability to pace under pressure, although he was not among the top run-scorers of the tournament.Badrinath’s line-up leans heavily towards bowlers and all-rounders in the lower order. He picked spin all-rounders Krunal Pandya and Sunil Narine for their wicket-taking ability and economical spell during the season.A surprising omission was Rashid Khan, despite his strong wicket tally. Badrinath seemed to value economy rate and only controlled the number of wickets. The pace attack featured the tournament’s leading wicket-takers: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jofra Archer, and Kagiso Rabada. He also added Prince Yadav or Karthik Tyagi as an additional pace option, while Akil Hussain was selected as an impact player.Subramaniam Badrinath IPL 2026 XII: Vibhu Suryavanshi, Shibman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Henrik Klaasen, Rajat Patidar, Krunal Pandya, Sunil Narine, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jofra Archer, Kagiso Rabada, Prince Yadav/Karthik Tyagi
