Jaclyn Smith has a beauty secret, and it has nothing to do with skin care routines, supplements or exercise regimens. The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star, 80, attended the 2026 Paley Honors Spring Gala at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on May 14 with her co-stars. A great husband, two beautiful children, three grandchildren. So it doesn’t get any better than that. It’s all love, family with me.” Smith has been married to surgeon Brad Allen since 1997.

In that gala, the 50th anniversary of “Charlie’s Angels”, which ran from 1976 to 1981, was saluted. Smith shared photos from the evening on Instagram shortly after, including several in which she posed with Jackson at the age of 77.“Kate and I were very lucky to be able to participate and accept this on behalf of our Charlie’s Angels family, continuing our celebration of 50 years since the series launched,” she wrote alongside the images. “Grateful does not begin to feel that I have been part of that legacy and continue to be.”Jackson and Smith co-starred with the late Farrah Fawcett in the first season of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ in 1976, before Fawcett left at the end of the season. Cheryl Ladd replaced Fawcett in the second season and remained on the show until its end in 1981.The gala appearance came just weeks after the couple and Ladd, 74, reunited at the show’s 50th anniversary celebration at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on April 6.

Also on the red carpet, the outlet asked Smith if she had any idea she was becoming a style icon when she debuted at the show. “When I started, no,” he replied. “But I think that we paved the way for a glamor and looking at women in a different way. That we paved the way for new roles for women.”Smith’s beauty secret comes as she prepares to reveal more in the pages of her memoir ‘I Once Knew a Guy Named Charlie’, which hits bookshelves in September. She previously told PEOPLE why she decided to write the book. “People have often asked me to share their behind-the-scenes stories, and in these pages, you’ll find plenty,” he said. “But there is another goal I had in writing this book. And that is to finally let others see the girl behind the picture.“Smith’s next memoir, ‘I Once Knew a Guy Named Charlie’, will be released in September, alongside his ongoing commitment to retrospective celebrations of his work.
