The University of Mumbai is scheduled to publish the second merit list 2026 on May 30, giving another chance to aspirants seeking undergraduate admission. Students shortlisted in this round must complete the document verification and pay the required fee from June 1 to June 3. The admission process will continue with the release of the third merit list on June 4.

According to the official notification, Mumbai University Second Merit List 2026 will be released today on 30 May 2026. Candidates applying for admission in the affiliated colleges under University of Mumbai will be able to check the second merit list through the respective college websites, where it will be made available in PDF format.The names of the students appearing in the second merit list will be eligible for admission and counseling procedure. Candidates selected for admission are informed to ensure completion of all admission related procedures within the stipulated time to confirm their admissions.

Procedure for document verification and fee payment from 1st June

After the announcement of the second merit list, the document verification process will start from 1st June 2026 to 3rd June 2026. Selected candidates will need to visit the nominated college and submit their documents for verification.The admission process will be finalized only after verification of successful documents and payment of prescribed college fee.

Mumbai University Admission Schedule

According to the admission calendar, the second merit list will be published on May 30, while document verification and fee payment for shortlisted candidates will take place from June 1 to June 3.The university will release the third merit list on June 4. Students selected in the third round will have to complete document verification and fee payment between June 5 to June 9.

What happens after the second merit list?
