Renowned journalist Russell Myers is to release a book titled ‘William and Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story’, which explores the lives of the royal couple and their family. Ahead of publication, Myers opened up about a particular part of the book that looked at Kate Middleton and Prince William’s relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Kate Middleton was not happy with how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were with the palace staff
HELLO! reported that a passage in the book talks about how Middleton did not like the way Meghan Markle and Prince Harry treated palace staff. Myers said he “thought at first [Prince] William and Harry’s feud was rooted in immaturity or stubbornness on both sides, but Harry and Meghan’s attitude towards the palace staff, who looked after her and William, set the couple on a completely different path.“According to the book, Middleton and Prince William wanted to create a supportive environment at the palace with the staff; however, Markle’s behavior was causing concern at the time. The report also noted that while she believed the interactions between Prince William and Prince Harry were “immature”, the problem was deeper-rooted. Another statement added: “He believed William and Harry’s fundamental differences as ‘heir and replacement’ created the inevitability of Harry wanting more from his role than being a minor player.”
This is not the first mention of Meghan Markle’s behavior with staff
This is not the first time concerns have surfaced about Meghan Markle’s behavior with staff. The Times reported in 2021 that a complaint had been made against the Duchess of Sussex over her alleged behavior towards staff. Markle and Prince Harry’s former communications secretary, Jason Knauf, filed the complaint.The complaint alleges that Markle harassed two personal assistants, who later left the home, along with another employee, for similar reasons. At that time, they also started an investigation on the matter. Markle has stood by and denied the allegations against her.
