From the artwork of Banksy to the scripts of the excellent TV series “Friends”, dozens Matthew PerryHis personal belongings are being auctioned in the United States.Perry, who played the neurotic and sarcastic Chandler Bing, died in 2023 at the age of 54 after battling addiction for the century.

Now, the executors of his estate are auctioning off around 130 lots, including his favorite watch and childhood memorabilia, to raise money for the Matthew Perry Foundation, an addictions charity.“It’s a combination of all the things in the actor’s life,” said Roberta Kramer of Heritage Auctions, which is handling the sale.“Things related to his work on ‘Friends’ and other TV shows and movies, but also a lot of very personal stuff, from childhood to adulthood.”
The auction is expected to fetch $1 million
Items include Perry’s prized Memorigin watch with a Batman symbol, as well as artworks he collected throughout his life, including street artist Banksy’s “Girl with Balloon” and “Nola,” which are expected to fetch around $1 million.There are also some scripts from the decade of “Friends,” the series about six young people navigating adulthood, relationships and careers in New York that made Perry and her co-stars multimillionaires and household names.Kramer said Perry created the foundation “in hopes of using her celebrity and her experience with substance abuse to help other people.”“We know he would be happy that all of his belongings went to support the foundation’s mission.”

Six people have been charged in connection with Perry’s ketamine overdose death.Five have already been convicted, including a woman called the “Ketamine Queen” who described herself as a star dealer. A sixth person is expected to be sentenced next week.The auction will take place in Dallas and online on June 5.
