Maruti Suzuki India today announced that it will increase the prices of its models across the portfolio by up to Rs 30,000. The revised prices will be effective from June 2026. The company also stated that the exact amount of the price increase will vary depending on the model. The company said it will pass on part of the rising input costs to consumers as inflationary pressures and a challenging cost environment persist. It added that efforts made in the last few months to absorb the impact through cost-cutting measures were not enough. However, the company said it will continue to work to keep the burden on customers to a minimum. Maruti Suzuki India’s latest price hike follows similar revisions announced by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hyundai Motor India in FY2027, which increased prices by 0.5% to 2.5%. Unlike its peers, Maruti Suzuki did not revise prices at that time.Maruti Suzuki sells its passenger vehicles through two retail networks – Arena and Nexa. Arena channel handles models like Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza and Victoris, mainly targeting the mass market segment. Its Nexa outlets retail premium and utility vehicles, including Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6 and Invicto. The newly launched e Vitara electric SUV has also been added to the Nexa portfolio as the company strengthens its presence in the EV space.
