A&N Police Recruitment 2026: Andaman and Nicobar Police has extended the online application deadline for its 2026 recruitment drive for Group B and Group C posts. Candidates can now submit applications for 495 posts till June 10, 2026, while the correction window for submitted forms will remain open till June 12, 2026.The recruitment process covers several units, including the Executive Branch, Police Radio Organisation, Police Motor Transport, Police Marine Force, Fire and Emergency Services, and the India Reserve Battalion. The notification was released on 25th April 2026 and the online registration started on 27th April 2026.The recruitment drive covers multiple departments.The posts include Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable, Fireman, Radio Operator, Driver, Nursing Assistant, Cleaning Karamchari, Cook, Barber, Tailor and Technical Staff in all departments.In the executive branch, the vacancies include 28 sub-inspector posts along with three departmental posts, 155 constable posts and several follower posts. Police Radio Organization has announced the opening of Radio Operator, Radio Technician, Cipher Operator and other technical posts.There are Sub Inspector, Dealing Assistant, Store Keeper and Constable Driver Vacancies in Police Motor Transport. Fire and Emergency Services has announced 77 vacancies for Fireman along with Driver, Cook and Cleaning Clerk.Selection Process and Physical TestThe recruitment process includes physical measurement and endurance test, written test, trade or skill test for selected posts, document verification and medical examination. Physical measurement and endurance test will be qualifying in nature.The race requirement for male candidates is 1600 meters in seven minutes while female candidates must complete 800 meters in five minutes. Long jump, high jump, height and chest measurements will also be part of the screening process. Separate criteria have been set for women and ST candidates.Final merit will be prepared on the basis of performance in written examination and trade test wherever applicable.Eligibility, Fee and Application DetailsThe upper age limit for the posts of Sub-Inspector and ASI is 30 years. The age limit for constable posts is 18 to 25 years for men and 18 to 30 years for women. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.Male candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories have to pay an application fee of Rs.100. Applications should be submitted online through the official recruitment portal.
