Tamil superstar Suriya and Trisha Krishnan Karuppu will next be seen in action fantasy drama, dir RJ Balaji. As the film is all set to hit theaters next week, the makers unveiled its trailer, where the protagonists are dressed as defenders, and fans can’t seem to get enough of it.
‘Karuppu’ trailer is out
The trailer features hundreds of protesting lawyers chanting “We want justice” over and over again. Trisha Krishnan appears on screen as a lawyer trying to convince RJ Balaji’s character, ‘Baby’ Kannan, to back down.In the following scenes a young girl is arriving in court with her father trying to get their money back. As Kannan takes up their case, he repeatedly misses court dates, with the hearings repeatedly postponed. When they protest the delays, the lawyer harasses them and tells them that no one else will take their case.The rest of the trailer features high-octane action sequences from Lord Karuppu, played by Suriya. The trailer features the actor standing in front of a large crowd and saying, “This is for all my beloved fans!”

Earlier, the teaser featured Suriya in dual roles. One character was shown as a lawyer named Saravanan, dressed in white and speaking calmly. However, the teaser also hinted at his dangerous side. The second character appeared dressed in black and carrying an aruval, presenting a more violent and fearless character.Apart from the lead pair, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy and Anagha Maya Ravi in pivotal roles. RJ Balaji will also appear in a cameo role.The film marks RJ Balaji’s first collaboration with a top star like Suriya.Moreover, Karuppu’s narration has high-energy sequences and engaging blocks of intervals. The film’s music is composed by Sai Abhyankkar. The film will release on May 14, 2026 in multiple languages.
