Many Bollywood celebrities took to social media and other online platforms to honor their mothers this Mother’s Day. From veteran actor Anupam Kher to Sunny Deol and Kajol, several stars shared heartfelt posts about the importance of their mothers in their lives.
Anupam Kher’s message for his mother
Anupam Kher shared a series of pictures and videos featuring his mother Dulari on Mother’s Day and talked about the sacrifices mothers make. He wrote, “Maa sirf janm nahin detee… vo hamen har din thoda-thoda banaatee hai. Apane hisse kee neend, khushiyaan, ichchhaen aur kabhee-kabhee poora jeevan tak chupachaap hamaare naam kar detee hai.”(“The mother doesn’t just give birth… she shapes us a little every day. Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and Esha Deol
The Deol siblings shared emotional messages for their mother on social media. Bobby Deol posted a picture of him hugging his mother Prakash Kaur while playfully pinching her cheeks. In the caption, she wrote, “No matter how old I get, I’ll always be your little boy. Happy Mother’s Day my precious Maa.”Meanwhile, Sunny Deol shared a series of pictures and videos of his mother with a simple caption, “I love you mom.” Their sister, Esha Deol, also posted a black and white photo with their mother and wrote, “I love you mom.”

Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have shared a joint post featuring clips of the actor and daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal. The video included Richa’s daily glimpses of her life as a mother, while also paying tribute to mothers everywhere.They wrote in the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to me and anyone else who is a mother. Kajol also shared a message for her mother, Tanuja, posting a selfie of the mother-daughter duo along with a sweet caption.
