Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the film’s release, the famous actress, who has been involved in the films since the beginning, discussed how “sad” she feels about the whole situation. For more than two decades, the actor was associated with the franchise, and over the years, the films have meant a lot to him.While participating in Netflix’s Is a Joke’s of Too Many Stars festival, “You know, I spent most of my adult life doing silly things with my friends.” While the actor is aware that this may continue to happen, “The movie won’t be on the screen,” he said, expressing how sad he was at the end of an era. He also added that the film series was something that he and his friends “created” all those years ago, and since the trip is finally coming to an end, he stated that “we will leave on our own terms”.
