In her memoir titled ‘This Is Me: A Reckoning’, she detailed the shocking events in her personal and professional life as she made her way in the entertainment industry.In one chapter, Panettiere recounted a touching incident with an Oscar-winning actress who revealed herself during an intimate meeting. Recalling the incident that happened when he was only 19 years old, the actor alleged that he attended a gathering at a friend’s apartment in Los Angeles. He said the gathering felt more like a “meeting” than a party, with several older men also attending.“These men seemed too comfortable together, like they knew something I didn’t,” Panettiere wrote, revealing that as she tried to leave the apartment, one of the men followed her. “There’s a big bubble of gum in my pants,” he allegedly told the teenager, pointing to himself, adding, “I looked down and pulled back.”As Panettiere recalled in his memoir, “the respected and award-winning actor’s testicles hung from his unzipped fly.”Although the man in question did not harm him physically, he stated that he immediately ran away from the house. “Up until that point, Hollywood men had always been kind and respectful around me,” she wrote, adding, “There’s been a peck here and an inappropriate comment there, but nothing has crossed a line.”Reflecting on the incident further, the actor added: “The bubble gum in the packet was a brain teaser though. It didn’t hurt me and I was sure it was a drunken prank, but I’ve never seen an adult do that. I was shocked.”The former ‘Heroes’ star also recalled an alleged incident on a yacht when her friend, identified as Stella McAmis, told her to ‘sleep’ with a famous British singer when she was just 18.
