NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad got a big boost with their star fast bowler after their impressive win over Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday. According to a report by Cricbuzz, SRH’s bowling attack could get even stronger with the Australian pace set strengthening its pace arsenal.According to reports, Cummins will undergo a fitness test in Australia on Wednesday.If he makes it through the Test, there is a strong possibility that he could play for Sunrisers Hyderabad, with the fast bowler expected to return to Hyderabad on April 17.Cummins arrived in India on 27 March but returned to Australia on 2 April.After eliminating Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad next face Chennai Super Kings at home on April 18.
SRH had already dominated the Royals clash with their pace duo Parful Hinge and Saqib Hussain taking four wickets each to put Rajasthan Royals under pressure. With Cummins joining the squad, the SRH pace attack is expected to be even stronger.Before the start of the season, Cummins had hoped to feature in the latter half of the tournament if all went according to plan.“I’m bowling back. I’m basically bowling every third day at the moment. We’ve planned to get me through the middle of the tournament. So hopefully if nothing goes wrong I’ll play the back half and the final,” Cummins said.
