Hero MotoCorp has announced a limited period benefit on its recently launched flex fuel commuter motorcycles. Customers purchasing Splendor+ Flex Fuel or HF Deluxe Flex Fuel can now avail a discount of Rs 4,000. This offer will be valid till July 2026. With a discount of Rs 4,000, the price of the Splendor+ Flex Fuel has been reduced from Rs 82,710 to Rs 78,710, while the original price of the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel is now Rs 68,792 as against the ex-showroom price of Rs 72,792. The announcement comes shortly after Hero introduced the country’s latest ethanol-compatible passenger motorcycles. Motorcycles are designed to run on ethanol blends up to E85.

While the overall styling remains familiar, both motorcycles feature updated graphics and a new digital analog instrument cluster. Powering both motorcycles is a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that has been extensively modified for flex-fuel compatibility. Hero claims that the latest engine produces 7 percent more power and 3 percent more torque than the standard petrol-powered version. Output stands at 8.4 hp and 8.3 Nm of peak torque.To ensure smooth operation with E85 fuel, Hero has introduced several mechanical upgrades. These include a new fuel pump designed to filter ethanol-rich fuel, an additional fuel filter for cleaner fuel flow to the injection system, and a recalibrated ECU that automatically adjusts fuel delivery according to the ethanol mixture in the tank. Hero says a total of 36 components have been revised to support flex-fuel operation.The suspension setup continues with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, while braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends.Before the discount, the Hero Splendor + FlexFuel is priced at Rs 82,810, ex-showroom, while the HF Deluxe FlexFuel is priced at Rs 72,792, ex-showroom.
