Hero MotoCorp is all set to take a big step towards alternative fuel mobility in India with the launch of its first flex fuel motorcycle on June 3. A flex-fuel vehicle is designed to run on gasoline as well as high ethanol blends, including E85 fuel, which contains up to 85 percent ethanol. Currently, most vehicles in India are compatible with E20 fuel, but the government is encouraging manufacturers to develop vehicles capable of running on even higher ethanol blends in the future.Hero MotoCorp is yet to officially confirm the name or details of the upcoming motorcycle.
