'Drishyam 3' box office collections Day 7: Mohanlal starrer sees 2.3% growth; Worldwide hits 183.08 Cr

Malayalam superstar MohanlalThe latest thriller ‘Drishyam 3’ is still in theaters. The film saw a slight rise in its collections on its seventh day. the director Jeethu Josephthe film is maintaining a strong hold in Kerala.

Collection on day 7 showed a small increase

According to Sacnilk, “Drishyam 3” collected 6.65 crores nett on day 7 in India. The figure represents a 2.3 percent increase on Day 6 when the film earned 6.50 crore nett. The film was shown in 4,721 shows on its first Wednesday.The net collection in India now stands at Rs 75.30 crore. The gross collection in India has reached 87.38 crores. The overseas performance also remains strong as the film has collected Rs 5 crore on day 7 alone.The overseas total has now touched 95.70 million. This has taken the worldwide gross collection to an impressive 183.08 crores in seven days.

Kerala is leading the charge at the box office

On Day 7, the Malayalam version collected Rs 5.85 crore from 2,703 shows with 45 percent occupancy.Kerala alone brought in a gross of 6.10 crores on Wednesday. The Telugu version added Rs 50 lakhs and the Tamil and Kannada versions collected Rs 20 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively.The Malayalam version registered an overall occupancy of 40.35 percent. Night shows had 47.58 percent occupancy, while evening shows had 46.33 percent occupancy.

The Telugu version of “Drishyam 3” remains firm

The Telugu dubbed version continued its steady run on the 7th day. The film had an overall occupancy of 14.19 percent in Telugu markets in 1,306 shows.The morning occupation was 11.17%. Evening shows improved to 15.08 percent, and evening occupancy reached 15.83 percent. The Kannada version had an overall occupancy of 14.15 percent, while the Tamil version had an overall occupancy of 17.09 percent.Tamil night shows performed comparatively better with 21.67 percent occupancy.

Georgekutty’s fear remains a key theme

ETimes, in its review of the film, noted how the story goes beyond suspense and focuses more on the psychological implications. The review reads, “In the third episode, Georgekutty is no longer the one who was sympathetic to the viewers of the cable TV operators. Today he is a successful film producer and his life reflects achievements and stability on the outside.
