‘Mirzapur’ star Divyenndu Sharma is gearing up to make his Telugu debut in the upcoming sports action drama ‘Peddi’. Ram Charan. As the actor will be donning the menacing character of Rambujji, he recently shared his excitement about being a part of the film.

Divyenndu fell in love with filmmaking all over again

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Divyenndu shared that he fell in love with filmmaking all over again. He said, “I’m really excited about ‘Peddi’. Going into Telugu cinema gave me a fresh feeling because I was a new kid again, trying to understand a new language and culture. I fell in love with filmmaking all over again. I’m speaking in Telugu in the film too! It wasn’t easy, I had to do big lines.”Talking more about the film, he also mentioned the difference he noticed working on a Telugu project. “It’s a period film with a specific Basque, and Telugu doesn’t have many pauses, it breathes quite a bit. We have to insert some pauses in the jokes with them! But I cracked by giving the character a high-status lineage, which dictated a certain way of speaking,” he added.

Divyenndu’s BTS as Rambujji

A few days ago, the makers shared some behind-the-scenes images from the film, featuring Divyenndu as Rambujji. It is mainly seen in cricket scenes. The clip showed Ram Charan and Divyenndu both watching and discussing a shot on the monitor. Buchi Babu Sana can also be seen enacting the scenes of Divyendu. Recently, the makers shared the trailer of the film and yesterday they unveiled the special song of the film, ‘Hellalallo’ in which Shruti Haasan makes a special appearance.
