National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 session. Eligible candidates can now apply for the exam through the official website, which is csirnet.nta.nic.in.Combined CSIR UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programs, or both in universities and colleges across the country.Candidates can submit their forms till 19 June 2026, 11:50 PM. The last date for payment of examination fee is 20 June 2026.
CSIR UGC NET June 2026: Important Dates
Here’s a look at the important dates:
- Last date to apply: June 19, 2026
- Last date for payment of fees: 20 June 2026
- Application Correction Window: 22nd June to 23rd June 2026
- Exam Dates: 17th and 18th July 2026
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 AM to 12 PM while the second shift will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. The duration of the exam will be three hours.This exam will be conducted in English and Hindi for the following subjects.
- Chemical Sciences
- Earth, atmosphere, ocean and planetary sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences
NTA has said that the details regarding exam city slip, admit card, answer key, and result declaration will be announced later on the official website.
