Complete list of IPL 2026 awards: Who won Orange Cap, Purple Cap, MVP and Best Catch?

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru emphatically defended their crown, outclassing Gujarat Titans in all departments to clinch their second straight Indian Premier League title with a five-wicket win in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. As RCB completed a successful title defence, fans across the country erupted in celebration, setting off fireworks and cheering their team on yet another historic achievement.With the victory, RCB became only the third franchise in IPL history to win back-to-back titles after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.When RCB lifted the trophy, the season belonged to Rajasthan Royals’ batting sensation Vibhu Suryavanshi. The 15-year-old enjoyed a brilliant campaign and claimed individual honors after a record-setting season.Suryavanshi finished as the tournament’s highest run-scorer with 776 runs and claimed the Orange Cap. He also won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, Emerging Player of the Season award, Super Striker of the Season award with a strike rate of 237.3 and Super Sixes award after hitting 72 sixes during the tournament.Gujarat Titans fast bowler Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap as the season’s highest wicket-taker with 29 wickets.Punjab Kings were awarded the Fair Play Award for their exemplary conduct throughout the tournament.RCB’s Manish Pandey won the Catch of the Season award for his brilliant one-handed catch at backward point to dismiss Tim David during the league stage clash against Kolkata Knight Riders.Gujarat Titans fast bowler Mohammad Siraj got the green dot ball award for the most dot balls in the season, he bowled 172 dot balls.Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans was recognized for hitting the most fours in the tournament, hitting 75 fours.The Cricket Association of Bengal won the pitch and ground award in the category of venues hosting five or more matches, while the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association won the award in the category of venues hosting four or fewer matches.
