Celina Jaitley has shared a rather cryptic social media post amid reports of “breaking up with a narcissist.” Mumbai Police She has registered an FIR against her husband, Peter Haag, after he alleged domestic violence.On Friday night, the actress took to her Instagram stories to post a photo of a book she was reading. Page, title “Breaking Up With A Narcissist” featured passages that resonated deeply with him. “Breaking up with a narcissist is like breaking up with a version of yourself they created,” the highlighted text read.The passage also read, “When you come out, you’re not ending a relationship; you’re reclaiming your identity, your voice, and your life from someone who never really saw or valued you…”.Another featured episode ended with the lines: “You deserve to rewrite your story and take your power back… You deserve to heal. You are not who they said you are.”The actress’ post comes hours after it was reported that the police had acted on serious allegations of domestic violence lodged by Jaitly against her estranged husband Haag. According to officials, the FIR has been registered under Articles 85, 115(2), 351(2) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deal with allegations related to cruelty, harm, intimidation and continuous harassment. The case is related to ongoing proceedings under the Domestic Violence Against Women Act, 2005.The Mumbai Police has also issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Peter Haag. According to sources, the move arose out of non-cooperation with the ongoing investigation. An LOC is generally used in cases where authorities believe an accused person can avoid questioning or leave the country during an investigation.So far, neither Peter nor his legal representatives have made any public statements regarding the allegations. Mumbai Police continues to record statements and collect relevant material related to the complaint.Celina, who has been married to Peter since 2010, filed a case against the employer in November 2025 under Section 23 of the Domestic Violence Against Women Act 2025 for interim and ex parte relief. It has sought 50 million euros in damages and other sums “in lieu of the loss of profits/visibility suffered by the Complainant due to the defendant’s ill-treatment, and other monetary orders for the subsequent loss of property, misappropriation of funds and maintenance.”
