Britney Spears changes her hairstyle in a rare update
42-year-old hairstylist Chris Appleton, who is known for doing a lot of work in the celebrity world, recently took a rare selfie with the singer in a new post. On June 1, she shared a sweet and emotional post about meeting the singer and getting to cut her hair, a dream come true. She posted their selfie on her account and added in the caption: “Growing up in England, Britney Spears was the soundtrack to so many moments. Never in a million years did I think that one day I would be standing behind the chair (or in this case standing behind me, lol) cutting hair”.Referring to the ‘Gimme More’ singer, the hairdresser also added: “She’s not just an icon, she’s one of the kindest and gentlest souls I’ve ever met.” He also called that moment in life “full circle”.In the photo, unlike her usual wavy hair, Spears sported straight blonde hair with a center part. In the selfie, she held a curling iron and other hair styling tools as she posed next to the hairdresser, sticking out her tongue.
Chris Appleton has stated that he wanted to style Britney Spears
Time and again, Appleton has mentioned that he wanted to work a lot with Britney Spears. Last year, when a fan commented on how Spears needs to change and Appleton needs to work with her, the latter couldn’t contain his excitement. In response to the comment, she wrote: “I’d be willing to do Britney, but you know what? If I did her hair, it wouldn’t be like a little touch up. It should be more like a complete renovation. I feel like he’s been through enough. He deserves a big, big hair back.”
