Saiee Manjrekar candidly revealed what industry privilege can and cannot do. Speaking to Mid-Day, he admitted that a popular surname can open the doors to the start, but insisted that the real test lies elsewhere entirely.He said, “Being a kid in the industry might help open some doors initially, but that doesn’t guarantee opportunity or success. If the audience doesn’t connect with you or accept you as an actor, nothing goes far.”His ambition, he added, is based on building something that is entirely his own. “I want to build a name through my work and connect with audiences across industries,” he said.

In an interview with IANS, Saie elaborated on the values that he believes will define his career in the industry, regardless of his surname. He said, “Although my last name may introduce me to people, I believe that at the end of the day, it is my hard work, discipline and perseverance that will define my journey.”He added: “I’ve always wanted to break out of the comfort of my film background and create my own identity. For me, growth comes from constantly learning, proving myself through my work and being grounded in everything.”

‘India House’ marks Ram Charan’s first outing as a producer and is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, mounted on one big canvas. The film is set against a period backdrop, a format that Saiee found both creatively stimulating and technically demanding. Speaking about the project earlier in April, he noted that working on a set that recreates a different era and time is “very interesting.”The release date of the project has not yet been announced.
