SWIM 2026 January semester application correction window
National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2026 semester examination. Candidates who have registered for the exam can change their application form through the official website exams.nta.nic.in/swayam.According to the official notice, the correction facility will be available from May 15 to May 17, 2026, till 11:50 PM.SWAYAM January 2026 Semester Examination is scheduled to be held on 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st May 2026 at various examination centers across the country. The examination will be conducted in hybrid mode, including Computer Based Test (CBT) as well as pen and paper format.Candidates can correct their application form through the official portal. Direct link HereNTA has clarified that this is a one-time rectification facility and no further rectification opportunity will be provided after the last date.
Editable Fields in SWAYAM Application Form
As per Annexure 1 of the official notice, candidates will be allowed to modify the following details.
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Upload photos
- Signature Upload
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- category
- Sub Category/PwBD
- University and College Details
- Selection of Exam City (all four preferences)
- Course selection
However, candidates will not be allowed to change their registered mobile number and email address.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Additional fees may be applicable if the examination fee is affected by a change in category, PwBD status, or course selection, NTA said. Additional amount, if applicable, should be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.The agency also informed the candidates that only one correction will be allowed. Once the modified form is submitted, it will be frozen and no further modifications will be allowed.Candidates are advised to check their details carefully before final submission.
