AP Inter 1st and 2nd Year Result 2026: Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has officially declared the result of AP Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 today on April 15 at 10:31 am. The announcement was made through a press briefing. This year pass ratio is 77% in first year and 77% in second year.More than 10.57 lakh students are participating in both the levels. Around 5.31 lakh students appeared for the first year examination, while over 5.26 lakh candidates appeared for the second year paper. These exams were held between 23 February to 24 March 2026.The gender-wise pass percentage for AP Intermediate 2026 reflects a consistent trend of girls outperforming boys in both general and professional streams. In the general stream, girls scored 81% in first year and 85% in second year in 2026, compared to 75% and 86% in 2025 respectively. Boys, on the other hand, achieved 72% in the first year in 2026 and 76% in the second year, an improvement of 26% in 2026 and 6% from 2020. In the vocational stream, girls scored 71% in the first year and 83% in the second year in 2026, closely followed by 71% and 84% in 2025. Boys in vocational stream recorded 49% in first year and 62% in second year 2026 and 75% compared to last year.District wise performance highlights Krishna as the highest performing district in both the years. In the first year, Krishna reported 22,403 students appeared, of whom 20,142 passed, a 90% pass percentage. It was followed by Guntur with 33,643 students appearing and 29,530 passing (88%), and Visakhapatnam with 37,891 and 32,334 passing (85%). In the second year, Krishna excelled again with 21,669 students and 19,952 passed, a pass percentage of 92 percent. Guntur was followed by 30,551 students appearing and 26,856 passing (88%), while NTR district took the third position with 36,151 students and 31,453 passing, resulting in a pass ratio of 87%.
AP Inter 1st and 2nd Year Result: Previous Year Statistics
In 2025, the first-year examination, 50,314 students appeared, of whom 23,799 passed the examination, resulting in an overall pass rate of 47 percent. In contrast, second-year results were stronger, with 27,276 students passing out of 39,783 candidates, bringing the success rate to 69 percent. Girls outperformed boys in both years, recording 55 per cent compared to 39 per cent in the first year and 74 per cent compared to 62 per cent in the second year.

To reduce the pressure on the official servers, several alternative channels have been activated. Students can access their mark memos through DigiLocker. digilocker.gov.inBy logging in with the registered credentials and retrieving the documents under the Education section. Additionally, one can get the result through SMS by sending the hall ticket number to the number designated by the board. A WhatsApp based service is also enabled under the Mana Mitra system, where students can send the message “Hi” to 9552300009 and follow the prompts to get their results directly on their mobile devices.
