Manish did not shy away from describing the meeting as “very strange”. Speaking to SHOWSHA, he explained how it all happened. “There’s a scene we shot last night in Ba***ds of Bollywood. It’s in a spa,” he said, calling it a “robeless scene” since his character is naked in it. During the shoot, Manish had to use the bathroom and walked around in his on-screen costume, which was essentially nothing. And then she met Shah Rukh Khan. “We were filming that and I had to go to the bathroom and of course I went to the bathroom in my costume, which was nothing, and it was there, and I got mixed up in oil,” she said. Shah Rukh then came close to her and tried to give her a hug. “So he came like this (to hug), I said, ‘Sir, no. I don’t think you want to do that. He said ‘Nahi nahi aaja (No don’t come)’.”

A few days later, when they met again, Shah Rukh brought up their first meeting in the most hilarious way. “The next time we met, which was 3-4 days later, Ariane said, ‘Papa, (meet) Manish’. He said, ‘Haan mile the na. Tab aap nange the. (Yes we met. You were naked then)’. That’s how I met Shah Rukh Khan,” she said, still laughing.

In an interview with NDTV, Manish revealed that the superstar had a sweet nickname for him. “Shah Rukh Sir calls me a ‘nice producer’. I met him a couple of times on the set. It was always inspiring to meet him. I was very happy to be close to him on set two or three times,” he shared.
