BSEB Scrutiny 2026: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the online scrutiny application process for students appearing for Intermediate and Secondary Special and Compartmental Examinations, 2026. Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for checking the answer sheets through the portals designated by the board from 25 May 2026 to 29 May 2026.The board has also issued fresh instructions regarding correction of errors in the mark sheets and original certificates of candidates appearing in the annual, compartmental and special examinations 2025 of intermediate and secondary. Applications for rectification of minor and major errors will be accepted by the Divisional Regional Offices after verification by the educational institutions.Scrutiny applications are open for Intermediate candidates.BSEB said that the results of Intermediate Special Examination, 2026 and Intermediate Compartmental Examination, 2026 were declared on May 23, 2026. Students aspiring for scrutiny can apply online by paying Rs 120 per subject.Candidates have to register on the scrutiny portal using their roll code, roll number and date of birth and create a password for further login. After logging in, students can select the subjects for examination and complete the payment through debit card, credit card or net banking.The board said that the scrutiny will cover totals, unassessed answers or errors in cases where marks from internal pages were not transferred to the cover page. The marks may increase, decrease or remain unchanged after the examination.A similar procedure has been announced for matriculation examinationsThe Board has issued similar guidelines for the candidates of Secondary Special Examination, 2026 and Secondary Compartmental Examination, 2026. The examination process for matriculation candidates is also open from 25 May 2026 to 29 May 2026 with a fee of Rs 120 per subject.Students applying for scrutiny must confirm within 24 hours that the payment amount has been deposited in the committee’s account. Applications will be considered incomplete if payment confirmation is not received.BSEB issues instructions on correction of certificate.In a separate notification, BSEB directed recognized secondary and plus-two institutions to assist students in correcting the mark sheets and original certificates issued for the 2025 examinations.Students are directed to submit applications with self-attested documents and affidavits by First Class Magistrate in their institutions. After verifying the records, the school heads will forward the applications to the divisional regional offices with recommendations.The board said that the correct and revised documents will be released after completion of the verification and amendment process.
