‘Katti Batti’ was a lighthearted romantic comedy, but when Aamir Khan watched it, he found it a real tearjerker. In 2015, he was seen breaking down after a private screening of the film. Speaking about it in an interview with Hindustan Times, Aamir said, “It’s a very touching and emotional story about his beliefs in love and how far he goes for those beliefs. It reminded me of moments in my life.”
He added: “I’m an emotional obsessive. I’m a sucker for Mills & Boon stories. It reminded me of times when the movies were very romantic, intense and obsessive.”
